CardCreator is a tool for creating beautiful, AI-generated printable greeting cards. We care about your privacy and want to be transparent about what we collect and why.

Information We Collect

Local data (stored only in your browser)

• Card details you enter while creating (recipient, message, theme, size, etc.) — used to generate your card and shown in the preview.
• Recently created cards (images + parameters) so you can re-download PDFs without regenerating.
• Planned occasions (email, dates, names, and notes) if you use the reminders planner on the homepage.

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to generate a card.

When you generate a card

To create the artwork we send your prompt (occasion, recipient, style, message, and print settings) and parameters to our AI image provider. This is necessary to generate the unique front and inside images. The provider processes this data according to their own privacy policy.

If you are signed in, we save your generated card details and image data to your account so you can re-download cards from My Cards.

Accounts and payments

Account login is handled by Supabase. Credit-pack checkout is handled by Stripe. We receive the information needed to keep your account, card library, and credit balance working, but we do not store your full card number.

Technical data

Standard web server logs and basic analytics may be collected by our hosting provider (Vercel). We do not use invasive tracking cookies for advertising.

To keep the free-card offer fair, we may store hashed versions of technical details such as email address, IP address, and browser user agent when a free card is successfully created. These hashes help us detect repeated free-card abuse without storing the raw values.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate and let you preview/download your custom cards.
• To provide the optional occasion reminder feature.
• To save cards to your account and keep your credit balance accurate.
• To prevent abuse of the free-card offer and keep generation costs sustainable.
• To improve the product (we may look at anonymized usage patterns).

AI-Generated Content

The artwork on your cards is created by an AI image provider. We do not claim copyright over AI-generated images. For personal use you are free to print and share the cards you create. We recommend not using the images for commercial purposes without checking the provider's current terms.

Your Rights

You can remove reminders from the planner or use the unsubscribe link in reminder emails. For signed-in account data, contact us if you want help accessing or deleting saved card records.

Children’s Privacy

CardCreator is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be noted here with a new date.
